About Ruth
You’ve tried “pushing through.” You’ve tried pretending you’re fine.
You’ve tried every planner, supplement, and “this will fix your fatigue” video the internet could throw at you.
And you’re still tired. If that’s you, you’re in the right place.
Hi, I’m Ruth, the woman behind Learn To Thrive.
I work with women 40+ living with chronic illnesses like Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, Hypothyroidism, and ADHD. You are smart, capable, and deeply tired of feeling like your worth is tied to how much you can produce on “good days.”
For years, I tried to live as the world told me I “should.”
- Pushing past my limits because “everyone else seems to cope”
- Feeling guilty for needing rest when others were hustling
- Wondering what was wrong with me that I couldn’t just “try harder.”
Spoiler: nothing was wrong with me.
And nothing is wrong with you, either.
What was wrong was the story I’d been handed about what it means to be successful, valuable, and “enough.”
I have had to rebuild through more than one hard season, and that lived experience shapes the way I support women now.
Who I'm Here For
I’m here for women 40+ who are:
- Living with chronic illnesses like Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, or Hypothyroidism
- Managing ADHD on top of everything else
- Exhausted from trying to keep up with “normal” expectations
You might:
- Wake up tired and go to bed tired, no matter what you try
- Feel guilty for resting when other people seem to be doing “more”
- Want flexible income that doesn’t demand more than your body can give
- Crave simple, realistic steps—not another complicated program
If you’ve ever thought, “Maybe I’m just lazy,” or “Why can’t I keep up?”—you’re exactly who I created Learn To Thrive for.
What I Believe
I believe you are not broken.
I believe you deserve a life and work built to fit your real life, not some ideal version of you.
I believe:
You’re allowed to need rest and still want something meaningful for yourself.
You don’t have to push past your limits to prove your worth.
Success should feel sustainable and kind not like something you constantly have to “recover from.”
This isn’t about pretending things are easy. It’s about finally telling yourself the truth in a gentler way and building a life that fits who you are now.
Your Next Step
If you’re reading this and thinking, “This is me,” you’re not alone, and you’re not asking for too much.
You can:
- Start with my free content and try small shifts that fit your current capacity.
- Or simply stay a while and read. Sometimes the first step toward thriving is giving yourself permission to pause without guilt.
You don’t have to earn your place here.
You’re already enough.
Now let’s learn how you can truly thrive in a way that fits the body and brain you actually live in.
